Manage the oil waste according to <br /> Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATIONS: One 5-gallon container of metal and nonmetal oil filters was observed without a lid. One 55 gallon <br /> container of used oil is not closed. <br /> REGULATIONS: All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Immediately securely close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers <br /> are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Two 55 gallon containers of used oil were unlabeled. One 5 gallon container of used metal and <br /> paper filters was unlabeled. <br /> REGULATIONS: Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg <br /> of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of this hazardous waste in compliance with Title 22 California Code of <br /> Regulations.
