Using one gloved hand,grasp the outside edge near the wrist of <br /> opposite glove <br /> 2. Pull and peel the glove away from the hand, turning glove <br /> inside-out, with contaminated side on inside <br /> 3. Hold the removed glove in opposite gloved hand <br /> 4. Slide one or two fingers of the ungloved hand under the wrist of <br /> remaining glove <br /> 5. Peel glove off from the inside, creating a bag for both gloves <br /> 6. Discard in waste container <br /> REMOVE GOGGLES-OR FACE SHIELD <br /> 1. Using ungloved hands, grasp the clean ear or head pieces and lift <br /> away from face. <br /> 2. Discard in waste container <br /> REMOVING ISOLATION GOWN <br /> 1. Unfasten gown ties with ungloved hands <br /> 2. Peel gown away from neck and shoulder <br /> 3. Turncontaminated outside toward the inside <br /> . Fold or roll into a bundle, only clean part of gown is visible <br /> 5. Discard " <br />
