Start work station set- up. Place barrier film on Arm Rest, counters, <br /> Chair, Sink and Knobs. Place barrier film on anything you think you might touch during <br /> the tattoo. <br /> Put Clip Cord Cover on, place spray bottle covers on, set out any barrels, needles and <br /> grommets that you will use. Set out tattoo machine and machine covers. Set out Ink <br /> Caps, Vaseline, Razors,Tongue Depressor Stick(s), and Green Soap. At this time de- <br /> glove. <br /> Ste : Wash hands and arms with anti-bacterial soap, dry thoroughly. Put on new <br /> gloves and at this time call the customer into room. Allow customer to see you open <br /> brand new instruments. Open needles and barrels. Set-up both machines with <br /> machine covers. Set out ink in caps that will be used on tattoo. Scoop out Vaseline <br /> with tongue stick and place barrier film on plastic wrapped counter. At this time you <br /> de-glove. <br /> Ste : Wash hands with anti- bacterial soap and dry. Place new set of gloves on. <br /> Start to prep customer's skin for tattoo. First, wash skin with Green Soap or Dettol. <br /> Shave the area and shave again. Apply the stencil. Have customer check placement <br /> of the stencil. If placement of stencil does not meet their satisfaction, de-glove and <br /> wash up to start over again, if the customer agrees with the placement, it is time to <br /> begin the tattoo. It is very important that the customer's skin is always on barrier film. <br /> De- glove at this time. <br /> Ste : Wash hands and arms, dry and re-glove. Put plastic apron on. Never leave <br /> clean circle, if you absolutely have to leave clean circle make sure to cover instrument <br /> tray and de-glove. When you re-start you must wash your hands and arms and re- <br /> glove with new plastic apron. <br />
