List the type of bandages or wrappings provided after a body art <br />procedure. <br />- Liquid bandage is applied after the procedure to the procedure area. Liquid bandages <br />used come in sterilized pre-packs for single use. Product used is: <br />Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film, Wipe, No Alcohol, Sterile, 3344 - Box of 30 <br />- No physical bandages are used after the procedure <br /> <br /> <br />P. Procedure for an Accidental Spill: Describe the clean-up and disinfection procedure taken when <br />there is an accidental spill of sharps or biohazardous waste. Using tongs or forceps, place sharps in <br />in a new and uncompromised sharps container. Use dust pan and broom for any remaining pieces. <br />Cover the spill area with absorbent materials such as Green-Z, paper towels, SSS clean-up powder. <br />Remove the absorbent material. No biohazardous waste or glass is disposed of in sharps container <br />or used in the procedure. <br />Q. Trash Receptacles and disposal of contaminated trash: List the type of trash receptacles and <br />their location throughout the body art facility. Describe the procedure for the disposal of <br />contaminated items, such as gloves. Trash receptacle is located next to the sink. During procedure <br />times the top of the trash receptacle is kept open for ensuring there is no cross contamination when <br />disposing of gloves, masks or contaminated items. Trash is disposed of after each procedure using <br />clean gloves. The trash receptacle for the building is located out the back door and to the left. Hands <br />are washed thoroughly after removing trash from the building. A new trash bag is then put into the <br />trash receptacle. <br /> <br />R.
