Flying Crow Tattoo <br /> After Care of Your Tattoo <br /> • Keep bandaged for 1 — 2 hours. <br /> • Gently wash thoroughly with warm water and mild soap. <br /> • Lightly pat to dry. DO NOT RE-BANDAGE. <br /> • Apply a thin layer of ointment 3 times per day (every 8 hours) for the next 3 days. <br /> • Do not let your tattoo dry out. <br /> • Do not use Vaseline or petroleum jelly. Do not apply isopropyl alcohol or <br /> hydrogen peroxide. <br /> • After 3 days, use an unscented, uncolored hand lotion until skin returns to its pre- <br /> tattoo condition. <br /> • Do not rub or pick at your tattoo it it is healing. Loss of color and/or infection <br /> could occur. <br /> • Stay out of direct sunlight and tanning booths until the tattoo is healed (at least 7- <br /> 10 days). <br /> • Do not swim, soak in a sauna, steam, sit in a bath, or submerge your tattoo in <br /> water for at least I week- showers are fine. <br /> • Extreme sun and exposure over years can and will fade your tattoo. This can be <br /> minimized by using a sunscreen with a high SPF. <br /> • Watch for signs of infection. Signs of infection can include: <br /> o Redness <br /> o Swelling <br /> o Tenderness at the procedure site <br /> o Red streaks going from the procedure site toward the heart <br /> o Elevated body temperature <br /> o Purulent drainage from procedure site <br /> These signs and symptoms indicate the need to seek medical care. <br /> • The tattoo is your responsibility after you leave Flying Crow Tattoo. <br /> • Please use common sense. <br /> • Should you have any questions or concerns, please call Flying Crow Tattoo at (209) <br /> 629-8177 <br />
