TATTOO AFTE RCA RE <br /> After ca-e is ter/ important for producing a beautiful and lasting result. <br /> • Keep tattoo wrap on for 3-5 days—The tattoo creates an open wound, so you want to keep the tattoo <br /> clez n. If tattoo wrap isn't applied, wash your tattoo afterward with unscented anti-bacterial soap. <br /> • Pain Manage-hent—Clients can take an Advil or Tylenol for pain management after the procedure. <br /> • O n-ment—To promote healing, apply Aqua phor/Vaseline/Afterinked or any tattoo aftercare <br /> oniments everyday after procedure (if you have tattoo wrap, wait until you take off the wrap). <br /> • avoid Picking— Do not pick or pull the scabs. Let them fall off on their own naturally.The area that was <br /> ricked at will heal splotchy. <br /> • Avoid wcrking out/sweating, pool, sea water/lakes. <br /> • Touch Up—A touch up can be schedule if tattoo heals splotchy. <br /> • Fzilure to follow after care instructions may result in infections, pigment loss or discoloration. <br /> • Sigrs and Symptoms of Infection: Constant intense itching, abnormal thick yellow discharge,yellow <br /> cruEt, ho- burning pain, lumps, bumps, blisters, redness, swelling, rash and/or tenderness of the <br /> procedure site. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please seek medical care. <br /> Whai s NormF I? <br /> • Swelling, itching, scabbing, light bruising and dry tightness. <br /> • Tco dark and slightly uneven appearance. After 7-14 days the darkness will fade and once swelling <br /> d 3s pates unevenness usually disappears. If they are too dark or still a bit uneven after 4 weeks then <br /> vire wil rrake adjustments during the touch up appointment. <br /> • Color change or color loss. As the procedure area heals the color will lighten and sometimes seem to <br /> di3appea-. This can all be addressed during the touch up appointment and is why the touch up is <br /> rvEcessary. The procedure area hast o be completely healed before we can address any concerns.This <br /> ta<Es at least 4 weeks. <br /> • Needing a torch up months or years later. A touch up may be needed a few years after the initial <br /> procedure depending on your skin, medications and sun exposure.
