0
IC LADING / OE POWDER
WHAT TO EXPECT
The initial recovery(peeling period) is approximately 7-10 days. The entire healing process though, will take
approximately 4 weeks depending on your body regeneration and age. Your new eyebrows will go through
several phases during the healing cycle. Please refer to the healing schedule below.
Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, your brows will lightly scab over and start to flake off. It will look
like dandruff flakes or dry skin. Note that because of natural skin regeneration, after recovery period(peeling),
brows may appear lighter, uneven,or patchy. This is normal as color will resurface during your 3rd to 4'week.
Proper aftercare is important to achieve the best results. However, even with proper aftercare,it is hard to
determine how each individual's body will retain the pigment. This is the reason why a touchup is recommended
(for Microblading 4-10 weeks, for Ombre Powder 4-12 weeks).
HEALING SCHEDULE
Day 1: Light swelling and redness immediately after the procedure is normal and will subside within 24 hours.
Day 2- 7: Eyebrow pigment/color will appear darker as they start to heal. Brows will lightly scab over and flake
off. Do not pick at the scabs as it will remove the pigments.
Day 8- 14: Brows should have completed peeling process, leaving you with a much lighter color. This is
NORMAL, so do not worry.
Day 20-30: The implanted pigment will begin to resurface as your brows fully heal. This will bring back more
color to your brows allowing us to see the result of the initial session.
Day 30- 60: During this time, your follow up session should take place to perfect your final result.Additional
sessions may be required at additional cost to achieve your desired look.
AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
BE SURE TO THOROUGHLY WASH YOUR HANDS WHEN HANDLING YOUR EYEBROWS
3-6 hours after treatment, gently clean your eyebrows with water and gentle soap (cetaphil)to remove all
lymph and previously applied cream. Pat dry. Then apply a very thin laver,of A&D ointment. For oily skin, do
not use ointment the first 2 days.Product will be provided to you.
Repeat this procedure 2-3 times a day for up to 7 days or until brows have completed peeling.
Avoid: -Make-up or products on eyebrows -Prolong direct sun exposure -Tanning Beds
-Spray Tan -Chlorine -Saltwater
-Excessive sweating 48 hrs after treatment -Sleeping on the face -Facials/Chemical peels
Only after no more scabbing may you resume your regular cleansing and makeup routine. Once completely healed,
always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure,
excessive sweating, extremely oily skin, immune system and improper aftercare may cause the pigment to fade
prematurely. The better you take care of the treated area and follow the provided aftercare, the better your results will
be.
An occasional slight healing itch is normal. If you suspect a problem is developing, the first thing to do is switch the
type of ointment you are using. The ointment is often causing the problem.
Signs and Symptoms of Infection: Constant intense itching, abnormal thick yellow discharge, yellow crust, hot
burning pain, lumps, bumps, and blisters. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please seek medical care.
