Good morning,
I will need the following to abate the complaint:
1. Sterilization certificate for the piercing needles.
2. Sterilization certificate for the jewelry and the type/material the jewelry is made of.
3. Evidence that all instruments are single use (such as calipers, forceps, marking tools, etc..).
The following corrections are still needed for the routine inspection:
1. Sterilization certificate for the Emalla piercing needles.
2. Photo evidence showing the microwave and coffee maker have been relocated. They cannot be in
the procedure area.
3. A client record showing that the lot number(s) of the needle/cartridges are either attached or
written on the form.
4. Photo evidence that absorbent items that were observed in the procedure areas have been
removed, including the partition. You may have sent pictures of this to Vicky, but I'm not sure.
I can abate the complaint and close your file for the routine inspection once I receive all items mentioned
above. Please be advised that the facility is due for the 2025-2026 routine inspection. The routine
inspection can't be conducted until I abate the complaint and close the file from last year.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E.
