AESTHETICS After Care Instructions <br /> Permanent Cosmetics <br /> Absorb (Day of) <br /> • After the procedure, gently blot the area with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. <br /> • Do this every 5 minutes until fluid has stopped. <br /> • Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymphatic fluids. <br /> Wash (Days 1-7) <br /> • Wash daily to remove bacteria, build up of product and oils, and dead skin. <br /> • Gently wash the area each morning and night with water and gentle soap or unscented cleanser like <br /> Dial Soap, Cetaphil, or baby shampoo. With a very light touch, use your finger tips to gently cleanse the <br /> area. <br /> • Rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away. <br /> • To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue. DO NOT rub, or use any cleansing products containing acids <br /> (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants. <br /> Moisturize and hydrate (Days 1-7) <br /> • Apply a tiny, rice grain amount of After Inked non-petroleum jelly 3 times a day with a cotton swab and <br /> spread at across treated area. <br /> • Do not over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. Product should be barely <br /> noticeable on the skin. <br /> Important Reminders <br /> • Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Do not pick, rub, or scratch at skin it can cause <br /> scarring and loss of color. <br /> • No facials, botox, chemical treatments, microdermabrasion for 4 weeks. <br /> • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after procedure. <br /> • Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for 1 week. <br /> • Avoid long, hot showers for the first 10 days <br /> • Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days. <br /> • Avoid face-down swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for the first 10 days <br /> • Avoid makeup on the area for 3-5 days <br /> • After around 3 days you may feel itching. This does not mean your are allergic to the pigment but the <br /> flaking process has started to take place. Apply ointment . <br /> Eyeliner/Lash Enhancement-Healing time 3-6 days <br /> Occasionally people will experience light to moderate swelling and redness for 2-3 days in and around <br /> treated area. Some people may even experience a light bruising. <br /> • If there is swelling, apply an ice pack to the area for 15 minute sessions. Do not put ice directly on <br /> the eyes. <br />
