92 <br />1. Always wear gloves and a cover coat. <br />2. Always use the Infectious Waste cart only, <br />3. When the infectious waste is collected by the Housekeeping staff <br />and is double red bagged, <br />4. All cans will have a lid and will have labels on both the top <br />and the side that can be clearly read. <br />5. The infectious waste will be taken to the infectious waste locker <br />which is kept locked at all times and is placed in the boxes provided <br />by the contracted hauler. <br />6. Never use the Infectious waste cart for any other purpose than to <br />collect infectious waste, never for storage or for any other material. <br />to be collected. <br />7. If you happen to get any of the material on your clothes, you are <br />to notify us immediately or the nursing supervisor. Your clothing <br />will have to be laundered at the hospital and you will be given <br />a change of clothes, <br />
