The isolation linen will be bagged in awater soluable bag and a yellow bag <br />in the patients rooms tied and placed in another marked yellow bag at the <br />the patients doors the bag will be marked 11 isolation linen". <br />2. The isolation linen shall be kept seperate from other regularly soiled linens <br />and completely away from all clean linens. <br />3. Wear gloves and protective clothing when placing the linen into the washing <br />machine. The water soluable bag is not to be opened. <br />4, Place the yellow bags into the open washerp tear the bags and drop the water <br />soluable bag and linen into the washer. <br />5. Immediately place the yellow bags into the trash container to be disposed of. <br />6. The isolation linen cycle has it's own washer card and should be used at all <br />times when dealing with isolation linen, <br />7. Always wash handsp after removing protective gloves and clothing after handling <br />isolation linen.. <br />
