The procedure to follow will be <br />on the "Sterlizer Preventative Maintenance Record" which will be completed during <br />the maintenance. The completed Sterlizer Preventative Maintenance Record will be <br />filed in the sterlizer file by the F.M. number. <br />On a semi-annual basis, the chart recorders will be calibrated and adjusted as <br />required. The procedure will be recorded on the "Sterlizer Temperature Calibration" <br />record as follows: <br />1. Use the Fluke Temperature Monitor with bead probe. <br />2. Place bead probe by drain. <br />3. Close door being careful with bead probe cord. <br />4. Cycle sterlizer to sterile, set temperature to 2500. <br />- 5. After temperature stabilization, record chart recorder temp. reading. <br />6. Record Fluke Temperature Monitor reading. <br />7. Adjust the chart recorder if required to match temperature monitor, and <br />record the new chart recorder temp. reading. <br />8.
