E <br />GENERAL REgUIREMENTS <br />1. COMPARISON OF BIDS <br />Request for Bid #4367 <br />Page No. 2 <br />Award will be made to the Contractor(s) offering equipment, price, <br />service and support deemed to be to the best advantage of the <br />County of San Joaquin. The County reserves the right to make the <br />award based on the total contract cost, on the cost per geographic <br />location, or on the cost per'department whichever is to the best <br />cost advantage of the County of San Joaquin. <br />2. RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS <br />The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to <br />waive informalities or irregularities in bids. <br />3. SITE INSPECTION <br />Each bidder shall have examined the site of work before bidding <br />and shall be responsible for having acquired full knowledge of the <br />job and of all problems affecting it. No variations or allowance <br />from the contract sum will be made because Df lack of such <br />examination. <br />4. PAYMENT <br />The bidder agrees to provide service and any other requirements as <br />stated in this Request for Bids, the County agrees to pay bidder <br />at the terms and conditions stated in the Request for Bids. <br />Should deficiencies be detected in service, payments/or the com- <br />mencement of a discount period (if applicable) will not be <br />made until the defeiciencies are corrected and accepted by the <br />County of San Joaquin. <br />5. COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />The Contractor shall keep informed of and observe all prevailing <br />federal and state laws, and rules and regulations pursuant thereto <br />which in any way affect the conduct of work and/or services <br />addressed by this Request for Bids. Contractor shall, at his <br />expense, obtain all permits and licenses required for conduct of <br />the agreed upon work-, and said work and/or services will be per- <br />formed so that all laws, regulations and ordinances shall be <br />obeyed. <br />
