TO OPEN CASE use special key in cover slot "A". Then open cover, which automatically releases <br />pen arm guide "B", which lifts pen from char.. Unscrew knurled chart lock nut "C" and <br />remove. <br />r . - __...._ . _ .i -o' . ,_. .... . <br />2:" MECHANICAL CHART - DRIVE: wind **-clock' movement* In a clockwise direction. (t is advisable <br />to wind clock each time a new chart is installed. <br />3. ELECTRIC CHART DRIVE: operated on t l5 V., AC 60 cycle, unless otherwise indicated on chart <br />plate. DO NOT USE ON DC. Cord and plug furnished. <br />4. PLACE CHART on chart plate with center hole over the chart drive arbor "D". Place edge of <br />- ._.chart._undec-chart_guides= E Chart -should -rotate -free! lace-knurled-lock-nut-"C"-on-arbot " <br />and screw down part way. Push down pen arm guide "B", rotate chart so pen point is resting <br />on the correct time line of the chart. Hold chart in place and tighten lock nut "C" firmly, so pin <br />on arbor will pierce chart, assuring positive chart rotation with chart drive arbor. <br />5. TO INK TEMPERATURE PEN "F", use the dropper supplied in the ink bottle. Inking each time the <br />chart is changed insures uninterrupted recording. Occasionally the pen should be cleaned to <br />assure a free flow of ink. This can be done with a small piece of cloth, or a pipe cleaner. <br />6. CYCLE INDICATOR PEN is inked in some manner as pen <br />Cycle indicator pen available for operation on 1 10 V., AC 60 cycles when specified on original order. <br />- D <br />C <br />, <br />(CHART PLATE) ' <br />CHART NUMBER IS <br />STAMPED.
