Who on your staff is <br /> authorized to transport your medical waste? <br /> • A MOT log(page 5 of this plan) is maintained. <br /> • A list of authorized staff able to transport medical waste is maintained by the <br /> EVS Department and the Employee Health Department. <br /> (g) Do you have tracking documents for all medical waste handled at your facility? <br /> • All medical waste records are maintained and available for the last 3 years. <br /> (h) Describe your medical waste emergency action plan,including procedures for <br /> handling spills, exposures, equipment failures, etc. <br /> The purpose of the Kaiser Permanente Manteca Hospital waste emergency action <br /> plan is to assure that all medical waste is properly handled to eliminate exposure to <br /> the public of possible disease causing agents which may be present in this type of <br /> waste.
