GENERAL GUIDELINES <br />1. Housekeeping carts should'be well organized with authorized <br />products, be clean and neat in appearance and be supervised <br />by the user. <br />2. Spills are to be wet mopped promptly. <br />3. Wet Floor signs are to be used to indicate wet floor areas. <br />Signs should be removed promptly from the area when floor is <br />dry, to permit normal traffic flow. <br />4. Housekeeping closets, mop fill areas and cart storage areas <br />are to be kept clean and orderly. Responsibility for these <br />areas is that of the person last using them. These areas <br />should be locked when not in use. <br />5. Housekeeping cart trash collection bags and large trash con- <br />tainers, once filled, will have trash liner removed and <br />transported to the designated outside area. Liners should <br />be tied and all boxes should be broken down before disposing. <br />If liners are not used, trash containers should be washed <br />daily. If liner breaks wash trash containers V,ash trash containc <br />at least once a geek with EFSisinfect nt. <br />6. Equipment is to be cleaned daily and returned to a proper <br />storage area. <br />l <br />7. Housekeeping personnel are to be well mannered, well groom- <br />ed and dressed in the appropriate uniform at all times. <br />8. There is to be no build-up or accumulation of dirt in cor- <br />ners, at the junction of floors and walls and in doorways <br />or doorjambs. <br />9. Difficult -to -clean areas such as under furniture or overhead <br />areas are to be kept clean. <br />10. All air exhaust vents are to be kept clean with no visible <br />sign of accumulation. <br />11. Bed frames and springs are to be cleaned monthly. <br />12. Shower rooms and equipment aretobe maintained in a clean <br />condition. <br />13. All resident furniture is to 6e cleaned on a daily basis. <br />14. Trash collection areas outside of building are to kept clean. <br />Dumpster doors should be kept closed. <br />-1 - <br />
