A
July 1, 1985
James R. Miller, R.S.
Senior Registered Sanitarian
P.O. Box 2009
Stockton, Ca. 95201
Dear Sir:
Please send Stockton Convalescent Hospital a letter
approving our method of infectious waste disposal.
Our infectious waste is seperate from other waste at
the point of origin. It is contained in double disposable
red bags, clearly marked infectios waste, and securely tied
to prevent leaks.
The infectious waste is stored in a reusable, lined
container with a tight fitting lid. The container is clearly
marked "Infectious Waste" in letters large enough to been
seen for 25 feet.
The container is secured in a locked area preventing access
by unauthorized persons. Because of the small amount of in-
fectios waste generated by this facility, it will be picked up
every 7 days by Stockton Scavenger Association Inc.
Thank you for your anticipated response.
Sincerely,
B.A. Mannon
Administrator
STOCKTON CONVALESCENT HOSPITAL 0 2740 N.
