Preparation Assemble the equipment and supplies as needed. General Guidelines 1. Hands must be washed as soon as practical after an exposure to blood. 2. As all residents' blood and body fluids are considered potentially infectious, all exposures to blood/body fluids must be reported to the infection Control Coordinator(or designee)or supervisor. 3.
