Gloves must be used: <br /> a. If it is likely that your hands will come in contact with blood or body fluids while <br /> disposing and bagging of infectious material. <br /> b. If you have any cuts, wounds, or scrapes on your hands. <br /> C. If you hands are chapped or you have a skin rash or skin condition. <br /> d. If handling bagged materials and/or soiled laundry or linen. <br /> 2. Gowns or aprons must be worn if soiling of your clothing with blood, body fluids, feces <br /> or other infective material is likely. <br /> BAGGING OR ARTICLES <br /> C <br /> All disposable articles, such as dressings, tissues, etc., shall be placed in a plastic bag, <br /> and incinerated daily. z <br /> 2. Housekeeping personnel must remove bagged articles daily at the completion of their <br /> routine cleaning assignment of an isolation area. <br /> Z <br /> 3. The person on the inside of the room shall pick up all isolation bags, seal them, and take <br /> them to the room entrance door. <br /> 4.
