An unsigned note (copy enclosed) was
written on a photocopy of the EHD inspection report stating no pick up occurred during
the week of 11/18/05-11/30/05 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
This indicates biohazardous and/or sharps waste was stored onsite for more than seven
days, this is in violation of California Health and Safety Code section 118280(d) that
states a person may not store biohazardous or sharps waste onsite for more than seven
days.
It is your responsibility as the generator to ensure that waste is not stored onsite greater
than seven days. If your regular pick up falls on a holiday you will need to arrange an
alternate pick up for that waste so that it will not exceed the seven days onsite storage
limit.
Should you have any questions regarding this letter, please call me at (209) 468-3451.
Sincerely,
Kasey L.
