We obtained the <br /> missing tracking records and will maintain tracking records on site for three years. <br /> • 16-"The facility inspected is disposing of fluid blood into a public sewage system <br /> without treatment."Fluid blood is not being poured into the public sewage <br /> system. Fluid blood that is collected at the bottom of the pathological container as <br /> a result of collecting pathological tissue is deemed waste. It is placed in a firm <br /> container and will be labeled `pathology waste'. The container will be stored in a <br /> refrigerator until pick-up by Stericycle waste hauler for transport to an approved <br /> incineration facility. Pathology waste will not be stored for more than seven(7) <br /> days. It will be placed in a secondary biohazard container when it is hauled. <br /> • 19-Biohazard labels have been removed from containers that are not being used <br /> for biohazard waste. <br /> • 20-Red Biohazard Bags are the only bags placed in a biohazard container. <br /> Biohazard containers are equipped with tightly fitting covers, constructed to <br />
