All biohazardous waste is stored below 32 degrees F. <br /> Biohazardous waste is placed in bags and stored in a freezer in the Biology department and a cold room in the <br /> Pharmacy department. <br /> 3) The waste generated consists of sharps, bacterial cultures, potentially viruses, and animals used for dissection. <br /> 4) The Medical Waste Management Plan meets the requirements and training records were available for review. <br /> 5) The biohazardous waste bags meet both the ASTM D1709 and D1922 standards based on the manufacturer's <br /> specification, Uline catalog#s-15509.
