Field Operations Policy and Procedures <br /> Note: If the identification band interferes with the embalming process, remove it, keep it <br /> with the decedent and reattach it using a cable tie following preparation (see White <br /> Identification Band). <br /> 4. After embalming: <br /> a. Acknowledge preparation is complete in Carepoint, if applicable. <br /> b. Complete the Case Preparation Report(FIN-CS019)by the end of the shift. <br /> c. Forward the completed report to the funeral home and retain a copy at the PCC. <br /> 5.5 Minimal Preparation of Decedent <br /> Policy. Minimal preparation requested by the Authorized Representative must follow all state <br /> and local laws and regulations, OSHA guidelines and relevant policies applicable to the minimal <br /> preparations process. <br /> Procedure. <br /> 1. Verify the Authorization for Minimal Preparation Form (FIN-CS018) has been <br /> completed. <br /> 2. Review the Service Information Form (FIN-CS031) or Carepoint for any additional prep <br /> instructions prior to minimal preparations. <br /> 3. Proceed with the minimal preparations. <br /> 4. After the minimal preparations: <br /> a. Acknowledge preparation is complete in Carepoint, if applicable. <br /> b. Complete the Case Preparation Report(FIN-CS019) by the end of the shift. <br /> c.
