It is planned to begin medical services late May 1999. <br /> We are requesting a permit for a small quantity generator with onsite treatment. <br /> I. The only regulated waste will be sharps - syringes, needles, blades, broken <br /> glass. <br /> 2. It is estimated that 10 pounds of waste per month will be generated. <br /> 3. See the attached protocols that describe the medical waste handling procedure <br /> that are utilized by Delta Health Care's facilities. A waste hauler is not <br /> employed by the facility. A Limited Quantity Hauling Exemption is currently <br /> listed for the WIC, 4662 Precissi Lane facility, with Sara Godwin, Mary <br /> Setness and Joanne Lange listed as staff authorized to transport the waste. <br /> Tracking documents are available at all sites for the waste.
