The "A" frames are then moved to the glass storage areas. The large
panels of glass are stored on edge, at a slight lean angle, against a steel support structure.
When called for to be shipped, the stoce is lifted by crane and loaded directly onto a
shipping truck.
Several methods are used for handling the glass into a shipping package. Glass is
vacuum frame packed into the horizontal case. The case is then closed, nailed and
strapped, and lifted to vertical using an overhead crane. The case is then placed into
storage.
1U 1
All Automotive parts manufacturing process activities were eliminated in December 31,
2001.
H:\profile\My Documents\500 E.
