CA0004464 <br /> WASTE DISCHARGE-REQUIREMENTS <br /> FOR <br /> J-M MANUFACTURING COMPANY, INC. <br /> D <br /> J-M A/C PIPE CORPORATION <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> The California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> Valley Region, (hereafter Board) finds that: <br /> 1. J-M Manufacturing Company, Inc. and J-M 'A/C Pipe Corporation <br /> (hereafter Discharger ) submitted a Report of Waste Dis- <br /> charge , dated 29 April 1980 , for reissuance of National <br /> Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES ) Permit No. <br /> CA0004464. <br /> 2. The Discharger discharges the following wash_ streams: <br /> a. Discharge 001 consists of an average flow of 26 , 000 <br /> gallons per day (1.1 1/sec) of once-through cooling water <br /> from the ball mill operation . Effluent is discharged <br /> through Outfall , 001 ( see Attachment A) to North Little- <br /> john Creek which is tributary to French Camp Sloughand <br /> the San Joaquin River, waters of the United States, at a <br /> point in the SE 1/4 of Section 25, T1N, R6E, MDB&M. <br /> b. Discharge 002 consists of an average flow of 24 , 000 <br /> gallons per day ( 1. 05 1/sec) of wastewater from the Krebs <br /> cyclone grit removal operation. Effluent is discharged <br /> through Outfall 002 to North Littlejohn Creek which is <br /> tributary to French Camp Slough and the San Joaquin <br /> River , waters of the United States, at a point in the SE <br /> 1/4 of Section 25, T1 , R6E, MDB&M. <br /> c. Discharge 003 consists of an average flow of 1 . 063 <br /> million gallons per day ( 46 . 7 1/sec ) of process waste- <br /> waters from the manufacture of asbestos cement pipe. <br /> These wastewaters are confined in evaporation/seepage <br /> ponds on the plant site . There is no discharge to <br />
