Vaughn
Associate Sanitary tjineer
Sanitary Engineering Branch
Stockton, California 95202
The tentative waste discharge requirements for the J-M Manufacturing Company,
Inc. and the J-M Pipe Corporation have been reviewed. The Sanitary Engineering
Branch of the Department of Health Services concurs with these discharge re-
quirements. However, the monitoring program does not include determinations
for dissolved oxygen. The receiving water monitoring should include weekly
dissolved oxygen determinations for stations R-1 and R-2. We would also prefer
to see the designation for asbestos levels expressed in million fibers per
liter (MFL) .
HRV:hma
cc: Department of Fish & Came, Region II
San Joaquin Local Health District
Sanitary Engineering Branch-Fresno
4i 0.
4
