The disch-ar-ge shall not cause concentrations of any materials <br /> in the receiving waters which are deleterious to human, animal, <br /> aquatic, or plant life, <br /> 4® The discharge shall not cause esthetically undesirable dis- <br /> coloration of the receiving waters. <br /> 5® The discharge shall not cause fungus, slimes, or other ob- <br /> jectionable growths in the receiving waters. <br /> 6a The discharge shall not cause bottom deposits in the receiving <br /> waters® <br /> 7. The discharge shall not floating or suspended materials <br /> in the receiving waters® <br /> 8® The discharge shall not increase the turbidity of the receiving <br /> waters by more than 10% over background levels® <br /> 9® The discharge shall not create a zone defined by water temper- <br /> atures of more than 1OF above natural receiving water temper- <br /> ature which exceeds 25% of the cross sectional area of the <br /> French Camp Slough at any point. <br /> 10® The discharge shall not cause a surface water temperature rise <br /> greater than 40F above the natural temperature of waters in <br /> French Camp Slough at any time® <br /> 11® The discharge shall not cause a violation of any applicable <br /> water quality standard for receiving waters adopted by the <br /> Board or the State Water Resources Control Board as required <br /> by the Federal Water Pollution Control Act and regulations <br /> adopted thereunder. If more stringent applicable water <br /> quality standards are approved pursuant to Section 303 of the <br /> Federal Water Pollution Control Act, or amendments thereto, <br /> the Board will revise and modify this Order in accordance <br /> with such more stringent standards. <br /> D. Provisions ., <br /> 1. Neither the discharge nor its treatment shall create a nui- <br /> sance as defined in the California Water Code® <br /> 2® The requirements prescribed by this Order supersede the re- <br /> quirements prescribed by Resolution No® 56-28 adopted by the <br /> Board on 30 August 1956, which is hereby rescinded, <br /> 3 <br />
