-2 -
upstream of our discharge site would be destroyed. There is animal
life at our discharge sites and -downstream.
WATER SUPPLY MONITORING
We do not utilize a municipal water supply. Our water supply comes
from our own wells. The quality of our well water would be identi-
cal to that of waste discharge from site 001.
s
Copies of reports from an independent testing laboratory are attach-
ed.
We have previously written you requesting a modification in frequency
of monitoring as follows:
Requested Frequency
1. Suspended Matter Semi-annually
2. Settleable Matter Semi-annually
3. Total Dissolved Solids Semi-annually
4. pH Value Semi-annually
5. Temperature Quarterly
6. Flow Quarterly
With this submital of current water discharge quality, we again re-
quest that the above modifications be granted. The quality of our
discharges are within the tolerances required by your agency. We do
not foresee any significant changes in the quality of our well water
or our discharges. The existing requirements for bi-weekly monitor-
ing of items 1 through 4 above,'constitute a considerable added cost
to our operation which we feel is unnecessary in view of the quality
of our discharge water.
Yours truly,
W.
