The EHD made a site visit on 6/8/2012. There were piles of <br /> roofing material,concrete,and wood material(Type A Inert)debris located on the property. The inert debris could be <br /> considered disposal. <br /> Title 14, Section 17381 (k) (1)states that: <br /> (1) VeA Inert debris"includes but is not limited to concrete(including fiber lass or steel reinforcing bar embedded in the concrete), <br /> Dullycuredasphalt,glass,fiberglass, asphalt or fiberglass roofing shingles, rick, slag, ceramics,plaster, clay and clay products. <br /> Title 14, Section 17383.7(a)states that: <br /> All inert debris Type A processing operations subject to this Article shall C0777PIV with the EA Notification requirements set forth in CCR, <br /> Title 14, Division 7, Chapter 5.0,Article 3.0 and commencing with section 18`100. <br /> (a) Inert debris stored for more than 6 months that has not been processed and sorted for resale or reuse shall be deemed to have been <br /> unlaw illy disposed, and therefore subject to enforcement action including the use of a Notice and Order as provided in section <br /> 183W, <br /> Title 14, Section 17388(1) (See Attached) <br /> Immediately cease using the inert debris as fill. All inert debris being stored at the above location must be processed for reuse or <br /> resale or removed to a proper disposal facility within 6 months from the date received. The EHD will conduct a re-inspection of <br /> the site on December 8,2012.Failure to immediately cease filling and processing or removing the waste may result in further <br /> enforcement fimm this department.
