MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -3- <br /> CITY OF STOCKTON <br /> AUSTIN ROAD LANDFILL <br /> GROUND WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM AND STORMWATER DISCHARGE <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> STORM WATER MONITORING <br /> Storm water runoff sampling shall be conducted to determine if runoff from the <br /> proposed ground water treatment plant or the northeast corner of the landfill is <br /> not transporting contaminants into Littlejohns Creek and adversely impacting <br /> water quality. Storm water runoff samples shall be represented of runoff <br /> emanating or passing through the ground water treatment plant site. Storm water <br /> monitoring shall include the following: (� � <br /> Sampling �v <br /> Constituents Units Type of Sample Frequency <br /> pH pH units Grab Quarterly <br /> Suspended Solids mg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Specific Conductance umhos/cm Grab Quarterly <br /> Total Organic Carbon mg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> RECEIVING WATER MONITORING <br /> All receiving water (Littlejohns Creek) samples shall be grab samples. Receiving <br /> water samples shall be taken from the following: A <br /> Station Description <br /> R-1 500 feet upstream of the discharge to Littlejohns <br /> Creek <br /> R-2 500 feet downstream of the discharge to Littlejohns T <br /> Creek <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Station Frequency <br /> pH pH units R-1, R-2 Weekly' <br /> Turbidity Turbidity units R-1, R-2 Weekly' <br /> Specific umhos/cm R-1, R-2 Weekly' <br /> Conductivity <br /> Temperature OF, °C R-1, R-2 Weekly' <br /> Dissolved Oxygen mg/l R-1, R-2 Weekly' <br /> EPA Method 601 µg/l R-1, R-2 Monthly' <br /> EPA Method 602 Ag/l R-1, R-2 Monthly' <br /> 1) Analyses shall be conducted weekly for four consecutive weeks following <br /> initial discharge to the storm drain from the treatment system. 2) After <br /> the first four consecutive samples, all other constituents shall be <br /> sampled monthly. 3) If any sample shows detectable volatile organics, the <br /> Discharger shall immediately resample and reanalyze the effluent for the <br />
