' <br /> •i Dimas <br /> I. FINDINGS: <br /> A. This facility is a 180 acre Class 1I-2 sanitary landfill utilizing the area method <br /> of operation. Remaining site life is estimated to be 6 years. This facility <br /> receives 280 tons/day of Group 2 & 3 wastes and is operated from 6:30 a.m. to <br /> 4:30 p.m. , Monday through Friday. No salvage operations are conducted. Types <br /> of wastes received at the site include: <br /> 1 . Residential refuse. <br /> 2. Commercial wastes. <br /> 3. Construction/demolition wastes. <br /> 4. Tires. <br /> 5. Sewage sludge/septic tank pumpings. <br /> O <br /> 6. Liquids/slurries.. <br /> Any other materials not listed above, including cannery wastes, must have prior <br /> approval from the local enforcement agency. <br /> Design and operation of this facility are as specified by the Report of Disposal <br /> Site Information dated September 1977. There will be no significant changes in <br /> design or operation in the next five years. <br /> B. The following document conditions operation of this facility: <br /> 1 . California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region: <br /> Waste Discharge Requirements No. 77-288. <br /> C. This fpcility's design and operation are currently in compliance with State <br /> Minimum Standards for Solid Waste Handling and Disposal as determined by <br /> physical inspection made on August 11 , 1982. <br /> This permit is grar?ted solely to the operator named above, and is not transferable. Upon a change of <br /> operator, this permit is subject to revocation. Upon a significant change In design or operation from <br /> that described In this permit or In attachments thereto- for the existing design and operation of a <br /> facillty operating immediately prior to August 15, 1977, or from the*approved Intended design and <br /> operation of a facility which was not operating prior to August 15, 1977, or which herein Is-granted <br /> a .permit modification, this permit Is subject to revocation, suspension, modification or other . <br /> appropriate action. <br /> This permit does not authorize the operation of any facility contrary to the State Minimum Standards <br /> for Solid Waste Handling and Disposal.
