This information is vital to the 5 year permit review
of the Austin Road Landfill .
An amendment to the Report of Disposal Site Information is
required. This amendment should include:
1 . An updated tonnage report on the amount of wastes received
over the next 5 years . This should be written in terms of a
daily peak tonnage . Include the conversion factor from
cubic yards to tons .
2 . Submit documentation of a fire permit or an approval letter
from the fire department.
3 . Report the status on the Falcon Energy project .
4 . Document that the remediation of the landfill' s ground water
contamination is outlined in the landfill's water solid
waste assessment test and verification plan.
5 . Report the change in the hours of operation (tree closure of
Saturday operations) .
6 . The description of the recycling operation. Since the
passage of AB 939 a "No recycling operation" is probably
inappropriate.
7 . State that septic tank pumpings will no longer be handled.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services fo
