In our letter, we responded to your comment item no. <br />2b concerning landfill gas migration and told you that we would respond to the rest of <br />the CIWMB and LEA comments at a later date. The following information completes our <br />responses to your comments and those of the LEA: <br />CIWMB COMMENTS <br />Comment No. 2a: Date for securing a revised contract with Pacific Energy for <br />maintaining and installing landfill gas (LFG) control facilities for the expansion project. <br />Selection of a LFG control contractor will be made after CIWMB issues a revised Solid <br />Waste Facilities Permit for the expansion project and final design is completed. Our <br />tentative schedule calls for this to occur in 1998. <br />Comment No. 3: Submit a revised land use map which shows the current zoning and <br />existing structures within a one mile radius of the landfill boundary on a D size (24" x 36") <br />drawing in accordance with 14 CCR Section 18261.3 <br />RESPONSE <br />A revised surrounding site use map is enclosed. <br />SUNRISE SEAPORT" <br />
