Item #2 of your letter requested submission, within four weeks, of a <br />schedule for accomplishing the following tasks: <br />a. Date for securing a revised contract with Pacific Energy for maintaining and <br />installing gas control facilities for the expansion project. <br />b. Installation of additional gas monitoring probes to determine whether or not gas is <br />migrating off site. <br />C. Responding to comments from the CIWMB and LEA on the subject plans. <br />r <br />With respect to the installation of additional gas monitoring wells (SGP5A & SGP6A), this work <br />was accomplished on June 27, 1995. Attached is a copy of the third quarter monitoring results <br />for all of the gas wells at the Austin Road Landfill including the two new wells. As is noted on <br />the attached report, there is no detection of methane gas at the new well sites. <br />The remaining two items should be accomplished within 90 days. Therefore, the completion <br />date for "a" and "c" will be January 31, 1996.
