Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re : State Inspection - Austin Road Landfill <br /> Facility No. 39-AA-0001 <br /> Dear Mr. Valinoti : <br /> California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board) staff <br /> conducted an inspection of the Austin Road Landfill on June 25, <br /> 1993, pursuant to Public Resources Code (PRC) sections 43214 and <br /> 43219 (b) . Enclosed are two copies of the State Inspection <br /> Report, one for your records and one for your transmittal to the <br /> operator. <br /> The facility was evaluated for compliance with applicable <br /> sections of Division 30, PRC and Title 14 , California Code of <br /> Regulations (CCR) , Chapter 3 - State Minimum Standards for Solid <br /> Waste Handling and Disposal, and Chapter 5 - Enforcement of Solid <br /> Wastes Standards and Administration of Solid Waste Facilities <br /> Permits (SWFP) . <br /> One violation was observed during the inspection: <br /> 30 PRC 44014 (b) SWFP Terms and Conditions <br /> In addition, the following "Areas of Concern" were noted: <br /> 14 CCR 17704 Leachate Control <br /> 14 CCR 17708 Drainage/Erosion Control <br /> 14 CCR 17711 JDA-1`y CO u <br /> EM- <br /> Please track the operator' s progress with the above "Areas of <br /> Concern" on your monthly inspection reports . The operator will <br /> be in compliance with 30 PRC 44014 (b) when a revised Solid Waste <br /> Facilities Permit has been issued. As you know, the Board' s <br /> Permitting and Enforcement Committee is scheduled to hear the <br /> permit agenda item during their July 21, 1993 meeting. <br /> --Printed on Recycled Paper-- <br />
