monitoring and reporting requirements of the RWQCB. <br /> Closure/Postclosure Maintenance <br /> 1. The operator shall submit to the LEA copies of a plan for the closure of the <br /> landfill and a plan for postclosure maintenance at the landfill for approval by the <br /> LEA, Regional Water Quality Control Board and CIWMB. These plans shall be <br /> submitted no later than: <br /> a. 180 days before the five year permit review is due. The plans shall be <br /> included as part of the application for the five year permit review process <br /> in accordance with CCR 18255 and 18268 or; <br /> b. Two years before the landfill is closed. <br /> Self-Monitoring Program <br /> The following items shall be monitored by the operator of the facility or his agent. <br /> Records, including but not limited to the following items, shall be kept and made <br /> available to the LEA at the intervals specified: <br /> 1. Environmental measurements of water quality, leachate, and gas shall be <br /> reported to the LEA on an quarterly basis. <br /> 2. Submit tonnage records of wastes received on a monthly basis to the LEA. <br /> 3. Quantities and types of materials recycled and/or salvaged shall be reported to <br /> the LEA on a quarterly basis. <br /> 4. A log of special occurrences, i.e. fires, explosions, accidents, hazardous <br /> wastes, etc., shall be maintained and reported to the LEA on an annual basis. <br /> 6 <br />
