Legal Description of Facility: The Austin Road Landfill is located 7 miles southeast of the City of Stockton on the-north half of Section 3.TIS.VE and a portion of the south half of Section 34.TI N.VE—Mount Diablo Base and Meridian.-See Appendix A&.T of the RDSL 3. Findings: The San Joaquin County lntegratcd Waste Management Plan.dated April 1996,was approved liy the CIV,-MB on March 26. 1997. Tltc location of the Austin Road Landfill is identified on pages 18:39.40.and 41 of the countywide siting clement..pursuant to Public Res,,urces Code.Section 50001(a). r. This permit is consistent with standards adopted by the CIWMB.pursuant to Public Resources Code.Section 44010. The design and operation of this facility is consistent with the State Minimum Standards for Solid Waste Handling and Disposal as cictermined by the Enforcement Agency. The facility is located within 10.000 feet of the Stockton Metropolitan Airport. The operator notified the Federal Aviation Adminisuat un and Stockton Metropolitan Airport manager of the proposed expansion and placed a copy of the notification and required demonstration in:he operating record. 14.
