14 NUISANCE CONTROL <br /> 14.1 Dust control <br /> The Operator shall provide a water truck and Operator during all <br /> hours of site operations. The truck shall water the site access <br /> and operational haul roads as needed to reduce dust emissions <br /> during operations. <br /> 14.2 Litter control <br /> As part of site litter control, the Operator shall construct litter <br /> fences for the operational areas of the site as called out in <br /> 5. 1.4 . The operational litter fences shall be cleared of <br /> accumulated litter on a daily basis. Additionally, the Operator <br /> may be required to clear these fences more frequently depending on <br /> the accumulation of litter, or at the direction of the CDPW or <br /> regulatory agencies. <br /> In addition, the Operator shall perform general litter pickup of <br /> the site and surrounding areas with right of access daily as <br /> needed. <br /> 14.3 Noise Control <br /> The Operator shall equip and maintain all site operational <br /> equipment with noise reducing mufflers designed for the equipment. <br /> Site Operators that may be exposed to health hazards from noise <br /> shall also be supplied with appropriate hearing protection <br /> equipment. Additionally, noise shall be controlled to prevent <br /> health hazards to persons using the site and to nearby residents as <br /> stated in CCR 12, 17712. <br /> 36 <br />
