4. At the discretion of the LEA, landfill gas monitoring probes shall be installed for <br /> detection of gas migration. If needed a landfill gas control system shall be <br /> installed. <br /> 5. The operator shall maintain a copy of the permit at the facility and it shall be <br /> available at all times for the facility personnel and enforcement agency staff. <br /> PROHIBITIONS <br /> a. Disposal of Hazardous Wastes <br /> b. Disposal of Liquids/Slurries <br /> C. Disposal of Infectious Wastes <br /> d. Open Burning <br /> e. Scavenging <br /> f. Standing Water on Covered Fills. <br /> Specifications <br /> 1. The LEA through this permit may prohibit or condition the handling or disposal <br /> of solid wastes in order to protect the public health and safety, protect <br /> rehabilitate, or enhance the environment, or to mitigate adverse environmental <br /> impacts. <br /> 2. Any change that would cause the design and operation of the facility not to <br /> conform to the terms and conditions of the permit may be considered a significant <br /> change requiring a permit revision. <br /> 3. This facility has a permitted capacity of 720 tons per day. The Foothill Sanitary <br /> Landfill shall not receive any more than this amount without first obtaining a <br /> permit revision. <br /> 4.. A change in operator.will.require:a new-solid waste facilities permit. <br /> 5. This modification of the solid waste facilities permit supersedes the permit issued <br /> on September 19, 1983. This permit has been modified as a result of the 5 year <br /> permit review, and is intended to update the previous permit. <br /> Provisions <br /> 1. The permit is subject to review by the Local Enforcement Agency and may be <br /> modified, suspended, or revoked for sufficient cause after a hearing. <br /> 4 <br />
