Each specimen of GCL was cut to 14"x 20"and mounted to rasp boards placed In the lower box,burnished side to HDPE. <br /> 4. Each specimen was hydrated under a 125 psf normal stress approximately 24 hours then consolidated <br /> 5. After hydration each specimen was consolidated under the normal sUess approximately 24 hours then sheared. <br /> 6. The test was performed in a"wet"or"flooded"condition. <br /> 7. Shearing occurred at the interface of the geocomposite net and smooth side of the geomembrane Specimens. <br /> 8_ The Friction Angle and Adhesion(or Cohesion)results given here are based on a mathematically determined best fit line. <br /> 9.
