1.13 TESTING LABORATORY <br /> A. The QA/QC CONSULTANT will select and pay for the services of a testing <br /> laboratory(s) to conduct earthwork and other tests as required in the CQA Manual, <br /> except where the CONTRACTOR is specifically required to perform the testing. <br /> The costs of retests or additional testing caused by the CONTRACTOR's <br /> operations may be deducted from the payment due the CONTRACTOR. <br /> 1.14 PERMITS AND LICENSES <br /> A.
