SECTION 02779 <br /> GEOGRID <br /> PART GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. This section covers the Work necessary to furnish and install Geogrid for support of <br /> portions of the liner system on the top deck of the former Austin Road Landfill. It is <br /> the responsibility of the GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR to procure and deliver <br /> the material to the site and to ensure that all submittals are adequate and approved. <br /> The EARTHWORK CONTRACTOR shall unload and store the geotextile if the <br /> GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR is not onsite. The GEOSYNTHETICS <br /> CONTRACTOR shall install the Geogrid. <br /> E. Section Includes - Furnishing, testing, and installing structural geogrid reinforcement. <br /> Work consists of: <br /> 1. Furnishing and testing structural geogrid reinforcement as shown on the <br /> construction drawings. <br /> 2. Storing, cutting, and placing structural geogrid reinforcement as specified herein <br /> and as shown on the construction drawings. <br /> 3.
