Ancillary and Other Site Facilities <br />Ancillary facilities are shown on the plot plan and described in Chapter 2. The scalehouse is <br />located on the west side of the facility. A lunchroom trailer is located adjacent to the scalehouse <br />and on-site residences exist north of the scalehouse. An access road extends to the fill areas and <br />a perimeter road extends to all of the monitoring facilities. <br />7.1.5. Sanitary Facilities <br />Permanent restrooms are located in both the on-site residences. Wastewater from the permanent <br />restrooms are discharged into on-site septic tanks located near each residence. These restrooms <br />are not for public use (Plate 2.1). <br />• Two portable toilets are located on-site for use by employees, contractors, and the general public. <br />One is located near the lunchroom trailer at the entrance and the other is located near the active <br />working face. The facilities are serviced by a private contractor. <br />C <br />7.1.6. Potable Water Supply <br />The on-site water well (LW -1) supplies potable water to the residences as well as water for dust <br />control (Plate 2.1). Bottled water is supplied to the scalehouse and the portable toilet near the <br />entrance. Additional bottles of water are located outside of the scalehouse for use by the site <br />employees and the general public. <br />7.1.7. Communications and Early Warning Systems <br />Communications at the site are conducted with the use of two-way radios and cell phones. Hard- <br />wired phones are located in the scale house. The site foreman is equipped with a cellular phone. <br />A list of phone numbers are shown in Section 7.1.12.
