Spec.Sec 83 <br /> Special <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 INSTALLATION <br /> A Install cow barriers at specified wells per the well schedule in the construction <br /> drawings. <br /> B Cow barrier posts shall be installed plumb. <br /> 1 C Barbed wire shall be installed in tension. At all barbed wire joints, the vertical <br /> member shall make a loop around the horizontal member. <br /> D Tie barbed wire to all corner cow barrier posts with 9-guage glavanized tie wires. <br /> E Cow barrier gate shall open and close without obstruction. <br /> ' F Any cow barriers not installed to the satisfaction of the Engineer will be required <br /> to be re-installed at no additional cost to the County. <br /> PART 4 - MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> ' 4.01 MEASUREMENT <br /> Measurement for payment for installing cow barriers shall be per the number <br /> installed. <br /> 4.02 PAYMENT <br /> ' Payment for each cow barrier shall be per the unit cost quoted in the bid proposal. <br /> The unit cost quoted shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor, <br /> ' materials, tools, equipment for doing all the work involved in installing the cow <br /> barrier with the man gate completely as shown on the construction drawings and <br /> specified herein. <br /> END OF SECTION <br /> NA2Perim LFGwells 08\specs\Sect 83 Cow Barriers.doc <br />
