FORWARD, INC. LANDFILL <br />WATER SUPPLY WELL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS <br />Manifold <br />The manifold is painted brown, is identified 'Manifold' and is located <br />across the main entrance road across from the landfill trailer and <br />contains 6 handles. Each handle is labeled 1-6. The handle opens <br />the valve which supply the following lines. <br />Whichever line(s) is to be used, must be in the 'on' position with <br />other lines in the 'off' position if not use. <br />Handle # 1 - feeds the 4" fire truck hookup line down by <br />Little John Creek to be used for emergency. <br />Handle # 2 - is a by-pass which would be,used to relieve <br />water pressure while running sprinklers or <br />if needed to relieve water pressure while <br />running any other line. <br />Handle ## 3 - feeds the standpipe to fill the water truck. <br />Handle # 4 - feeds the 21" fire hose hookup at main entrance. <br />Handle ## 5 - feeds the 2" sprinkler line. <br />Handle # 6 - feeds the county test faucet. <br />Electrical Main Box <br />The electical main box is painted grey, is identifed as 'Electrical <br />Main Box' and is located to the right of the 'Manifold'. <br />To start: <br />When you have the appropriate value on from above list, turn the bottom <br />black knob to the 'hand' position and press the green button above <br />it, this will start the water. <br />To stop: <br />Turn the bottom black knob to the „'off' position and return the <br />manifold handle(s) to 'off' position. <br />Emergency <br />Handle # 1 - feeds 4" fire truck hookup line down by Little <br />John Creek to be used by the Fire Department. <br />Handle # 4 - feeds the 212" fire hose hookup at main entrance. <br />12-18-92 <br />
