FORWARD, INC. <br />EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT <br />Emergency equipment of the following type will be maintained <br />at the site at all times: <br />Industrial first-aid kits, these kits will contain <br />materials sufficient to provide first-aid services <br />for all on-site personnel and an additional supply <br />of first-aid materials will be maintained to treat <br />an equal number of off-site individuals. <br />Location: Industrial first-aid kits are located: <br />Office trailer,at landfill, maintenance area, <br />and office trailer at R & R. <br />Personal Protective Equipment Disposable <br />respirators, gloves, hard hats, safety glasses, <br />etc. - this equipment will be available in <br />sufficient number to supply all site personnel <br />plus a replacement set for each of those units. <br />(All heavy equipment is supplied with fire a <br />extinguisher.) <br />Fire Extinguishers and Fire Extinguishing Systems <br />A fire^ extinguisher is located at the main gate. <br />Water Truck is equipped with a fire hose. <br />Location: Parked in maintenance area when not <br />in use at landfill. <br />1" fire outlet on the main water pump located <br />at the main gate. <br />Emergency 4" water hookup for fire truck is located <br />at SE corner of Forward Landfill, northside of <br />Little John Creek. Covered by red box with wording <br />"FIRE". Has cutoff locks for quick access. Water <br />supply is from the main pump located at Landfill <br />entrance. Four inch PVCP runs from main pump <br />to 4" fire thread hookup. Main pump is a free <br />flow system not a pressure system. Turn selector <br />knob on the main pump to hand position and push <br />start button to activate pump. Knoxsbox next <br />to outside landfill main gate. Contains keys <br />to main gate, landfill office, R & R office, and <br />fire box for Fire Dept. emergency use, per their <br />request. <br />
