C <br />C <br />GeoSyntec Consultants <br />This Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Plan describes the required field and <br />laboratory testing procedures for monitoring the construction of the final cover over the <br />Waste Management Unit (WMU) B disposal area at the Forward Landfill. The CQA <br />Plan was prepared by a registered civil engineer in accordance with Title 27, California <br />Code of Regulations (CCR), Division 2, §§20323 and 20324, titled "CQA Plan" and <br />"CQA Requirements". The goal of the CQA Plan is to ensure that the final cover is <br />constructed in accordance with the Project Plans, Technical Specifications, and Title 27 <br />requirements, under the supervision of a registered civil engineer or certified <br />engineering geologist. <br />The CQA Plan includes the following: <br />• Introduction <br />• Project Description <br />• Qualifications and Responsibilities <br />• Project Meetings <br />• Inspection Activities <br />• Sampling and Testing Program <br />• Documentation <br />At completion of the work, a final CQA report, including as -built drawings, will be <br />prepared by the CQA Team to document that the final cover materials and construction <br />procedures comply with the WMU B design documents and regulatory requirements. <br />I:XALLIED\FORWARD\CLOSUREIREPORT\CQAREPORT 1-1 99.11.30 <br />
