A highly visible sign stating that no hazardous waste 'is accepted at the Forward Landfill is posted at thelandfill entrance and at the trailer. Photographs of these signs are .shown in the Appendix. All trucks check in at the trailer before proceeding to the disposal or treatment areas. The driver presents the gate attendant with all the appropriate paperwork. The forms are checked and signed by the gate attendant, and the appropriate .informa.tion regarding each load is logged in the daily record. The driver is then allowed to proceed to the treatment or disposal area for discharge of the waste. Every load is inspected at the disposal area by_a Forward Landfill employee. A load checking data sheet is filled out that describes the contents of each load. The sheet will include, the date, time, hauler, drivers name, source of the waste, and the Forward load inspector's signature, and observation notes.
