5.2.9 STRUCTURE REMOVAL/DECOMMISSIONING OF ENVIRONMENTAL <br />0 CONTROL SYSTEMS <br />• <br />This category includes costs for dismantling and removal of the fee scales and <br />scale house including backfill of the pits and administrative office. <br />5.2.10 ENGINEERING DESIGN <br />This category includes costs for the preparation of construction level engineering <br />design plans and specifications for bid purposes. This cost is assumed to be five <br />percent of the construction cost. <br />5.2.11 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT <br />The construction management cost for the Forward Landfill is based on the <br />closure construction period. This cost 1s --based mon a 180 -day construction <br />schedule. <br />POST-CLOSURE5.2.12 FINAL CLOSURE AND <br />PREPARATION <br />This category covers the cost to prepare the FCPCMP. <br />5.2.13 CONTINGENCY <br />A 20 percent contingency factor has been added to the construction cost <br />estimate. <br />5.3 POST -CLOSURE MAINTENANCE COST ESTIMATE <br />The post -closure maintenance cost estimate has been prepared utilizing <br />information contained in Section 4.0 and estimates of manpower, materials and <br />equipment to maintain the Forward Landfill in compliance with current <br />applicable regulations. <br />Forward Landfill PCPCMP 5-3 <br />L:\Allied\2000.193\Reports\Fina IPC PC M P:FL-sec5: 8/22/01 <br />BRYAN A.
